1. About the service
The legal person identified in the provider box above supplies the electronic service and is referred to as “WorkTogether”, “we” or “us”. The platform lets adults create profiles, publish projects and roles, apply, message and collaborate.
The service has a free plan and optional prepaid Pro access and is under active development. WorkTogether is not an employer, recruitment agency, payment provider or party to agreements between project participants.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use WorkTogether.
You register with a display name, an email address, and a password. Your account becomes active after you confirm your email via the link we send you — the confirmation link is valid for 24 hours.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One account per person; do not impersonate others.
- Keep your password private. Everything done through your account is your responsibility.
- Tell us immediately if you believe your account was compromised.
3. Projects, positions, and applications
Project owners decide who joins their project: they review applications and accept or reject them. Accepting one application closes the position and automatically rejects other pending applications for it.
You may apply once per position, you cannot apply to your own project, and you may withdraw an application while it is pending. We do not guarantee that you will find a team or teammates — WorkTogether only provides the tools for matching.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you post: your profile text, project names and descriptions, position requirements, and links (GitHub, LinkedIn, CV).
By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it on WorkTogether so the service can function — for example, showing your public profile to other users or your project in the catalog. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal evidence and content already lawfully relied on by a team where retention is necessary.
You are responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it.
5. Acceptable use
When using WorkTogether you agree NOT to:
- post unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or offensive content;
- spam users with applications or use the platform for unsolicited advertising;
- collect or scrape other users' data outside normal platform use;
- attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access other people's accounts;
- upload malicious code or disrupt the operation of the service.
6. Third-party links
Profiles and projects may contain links to external resources (GitHub, LinkedIn, CV hosting, etc.). We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Follow external links at your own discretion.
7. Our intellectual property
The WorkTogether name, logo, design, and software are our property or used with permission. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond normal use of the service.
8. Availability and changes to the service
You need internet access, a current browser with JavaScript and first-party cookies enabled, and an email account. Passkeys, push and some integrations additionally require compatible browser or device support.
External links and files may create malware, phishing or privacy risks. Check their destination, keep your device updated and never share passwords, passkeys, MFA or recovery codes.
The service is provided “as available”. We may perform maintenance, correct faults, introduce proportionate security limits or withdraw a feature. Where reasonable, we will give notice of material changes.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not verify users' identities, skills, or project claims, and we are not a party to any agreement between project owners and applicants.
10. Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for users' statements, off-platform agreements or collaboration outcomes, but we remain responsible where mandatory law requires it.
Nothing excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional harm.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account (see the Privacy Policy).
We may deactivate or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or create risk for other users — where possible, we will state the reason. Deactivated accounts cannot submit applications.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The current version is always available on this page with its “Last updated” date. If the changes are material, we will additionally notify users (for example, by email or an in-product notice). Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections of the country where they habitually reside. A competent court is determined by applicable law.
14. Contact
Complaints and questions can be sent to support@worktogether.app. Include your account email where relevant, the affected URL or feature, a description and the requested outcome. We aim to acknowledge and answer a complete complaint within 14 days; a statutory deadline prevails if different.
15. Paid Pro access
The free plan allows recruitment for one active project and two applications per local calendar week (Monday to Monday). Other owned projects remain stored but inactive. Pro removes those two limits for the paid access period; it does not guarantee applicants, acceptance, teammates, or a project outcome.
Pro is sold as a one-time prepaid period without automatic renewal: 1 month for PLN 20, 3 months for PLN 60, 6 months for PLN 100, or 12 months for PLN 180. The total price and period are shown again before the payment obligation is created. Web payments are securely processed by Stripe; we do not receive full payment-card details.
Pro starts only after verified payment. If you expressly request immediate performance during the withdrawal period, access starts immediately and we send confirmation of the contract, price, access dates, and your request by email. When Pro ends, stored projects are not deleted; if more than one is recruiting, one remains active and the others are paused until you choose one or buy another period.
A consumer who contracts at a distance generally has 14 days to withdraw. If you requested immediate performance and withdraw after access started, we may retain or request a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to withdrawal. Send a clear withdrawal statement to support@worktogether.app. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer remedies, including rights for a non-conforming digital service.
Purchases offered inside a native mobile app may be processed by Apple or Google and are also subject to the applicable store's checkout, billing, cancellation, and refund terms shown before purchase.
